Wet Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup Acts as a natural sweetener
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted Can substitute with vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Adds flavor

Additional Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips For extra chocolaty goodness

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, combine the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until everything is mixed well.
  • Fold in the dairy-free chocolate chips.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each ball.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but the center remains soft.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

These cookies can be stored in the fridge for up to one week or frozen for up to three months. Reheat in the oven for added crispness.
