Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk whole or oat milk for extra creaminess
  • 2 shots espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee
  • 2 tablespoons white chocolate sauce homemade or store-bought
  • ½ cup heavy cream for the foam
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup or 1 tsp vanilla extract + 1 tsp sugar
  • ice enough to fill the glass

Instructions

  • Brew the espresso or strong coffee. Let it cool slightly to avoid melting the ice too fast.
  • Mix the white chocolate sauce with the hot espresso until fully dissolved—no gritty mocha here.
  • Fill a glass with ice and pour in the milk, leaving about an inch at the top for the foam.
  • Pour the espresso mixture over the milk. Stir gently for a marbled effect if you’re feeling artsy.
  • Make the cold foam by whipping heavy cream and vanilla syrup until thick but still pourable.
  • Top the drink with the vanilla cold foam. Sprinkle with cocoa powder if you're feeling extra.

Notes

Serve immediately for maximum foam drama. Make the espresso mix ahead and refrigerate for up to 2 days, but whip the foam fresh it’s the diva of the drink. Want a dairy-free twist? Use coconut cream and oat milk. Fancy it hot? Skip the foam and sub whipped cream instead.
