The Gelatin Trick Cubes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water ½ cup hot, ½ cup cold
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder about 1 packet
  • 1–2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey or stevia for sugar-free option

Instructions
 

  • Heat ½ cup of water until steaming hot, not boiling.
  • Slowly sprinkle the gelatin powder over the hot water while stirring to dissolve.
  • Stir until the gelatin fully dissolves — some foam is normal.
  • Add lemon juice and honey. Mix well.
  • Pour in the cold ½ cup of water to cool it down.
  • Transfer the mixture into a small glass dish or silicone mold.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight until set.
  • Once firm, cut into cubes and store in an airtight container.

Notes

Kid-approved and seriously snack-stopping. Eat 2–4 cubes 15–20 minutes before meals or when nighttime cravings hit. Don’t heat they’re meant to be cold. Make it part of your Sunday prep to keep the week snack-hack ready.
