  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup Substitute chicken or celery if desired.
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese Pepper jack can be used for a kick.
  • ½ cup frozen corn or peas Eyeball the amount.
  • ½ onion chopped Optional; mince small if using.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain excess grease.
  • Stir in the can of soup, onion, and veggies into the skillet and mix until creamy.
  • Pour the mixture into a big baking dish and sprinkle cheese over the top.
  • Arrange tater tots over the top, covering every bit.

Cooking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the tots are golden and crispy.

Notes

To achieve the crispiest top, do not cover with foil. Watch the timer closely the first time, checking at around 25 minutes.
