  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped Fresh is best!
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened For that creamy goodness.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar For sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil To make it moist.
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 pieces eggs The binding magic.
  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes Optional, for a fun twist.
  • 1/4 cup nuts Optional, for a little crunch.
  • Whipped cream for serving Because who doesn’t love whipped cream?

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs until smooth.
  • Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  • In another bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the batter in the pan.
  • Scatter the chopped strawberries over the cream cheese mixture.
  • Pour the remaining cake batter over the strawberries and cream cheese.
  • Gently swirl the mixture with a knife.
  • Optionally sprinkle coconut flakes and nuts on top.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let it cool before serving.
  • Serve with a dollop of whipped cream if desired.

Notes

This cake is perfect for family gatherings or brunch. It can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
