Ingredients

For the Pork

  • 2-3 pounds pork tenderloin Select a tenderloin that is even in thickness for even cooking.

For the Sauce

  • 1 cup chicken broth Use low-sodium broth for a healthier option.
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix Homemade ranch seasoning can be substituted.
  • 1 packet onion soup mix Adds depth of flavor to the sauce.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Use low-sodium soy sauce if desired.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Can be adjusted for sweetness to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic Fresh garlic is recommended for best flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Place the pork tenderloin in the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, mix together chicken broth, ranch dressing mix, onion soup mix, soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic. Stir until combined.
  • Pour the mixture over the pork, ensuring it’s evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the pork is tender.
  • Once the pork is tender, remove it from the cooker, slice it, and serve drizzled with the sauce.

Notes

For additional flavor, consider adding a dash more cinnamon or a drizzle of honey. Feel free to serve with a fresh green salad or mashed potatoes on the side. Store any leftovers in an airtight container to retain flavor.
