Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker and season them with garlic powder and Italian seasoning, ensuring they're well coated.
  • Pour the marinara sauce and chicken broth over the chicken.
  • Set your slow cooker to low and let it cook for about 5-6 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and return it to the slow cooker, stirring to coat it in the sauce.

Cooking

  • Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in a separate pot according to the package directions. Drain when finished.
  • Stir the spaghetti and shredded mozzarella cheese into the slow cooker before serving.

Notes

You can adapt the ingredients easily. For more flavor, you might want to toss in some vegetables like bell peppers or spinach. If you're short on time, consider using pre-cooked chicken or rotisserie chicken and add it to the slow cooker toward the end.
