  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Can substitute with chicken thighs.
  • 12 oz spaghetti Cook according to package directions.
  • 1 jar marinara sauce Use your favorite brand.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Can substitute with vegetable broth.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Add more cheese if desired.

Seasonings

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Do not skip; adds depth of flavor.

Preparation

  • Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and season with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  • Pour marinara sauce and chicken broth over the chicken.

Cooking

  • Cook on low for 5-6 hours until the chicken is tender.
  • Shred the chicken and return it to the slow cooker.
  • Cook spaghetti separately according to package directions and drain.
  • Stir spaghetti and mozzarella cheese into the slow cooker before serving.

Notes

For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Freeze individual portions for longer storage. Reheat in the oven for best texture.
