Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 cups mixed veggies (bell peppers, onions, or lettuce) Use a mix of your favorite vegetables.

Cooking the Ground Meat

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add your ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken) and cook for about 10 minutes until browned.
  • Stir occasionally for even cooking.

Preparing the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and salt.
  • Mix well and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Ensure it heats through and flavors meld together.

Assembling the Bowls

  • Divide the sloppy joe mixture into meal prep containers.
  • Top with your choice of veggies, like bell peppers or shredded lettuce.
  • Seal the containers and store them in the fridge.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or air fryer.
