  • 1 whole rotisserie chicken, shredded (about 5 cups cooked chicken)
  • 1 bottle Caesar dressing (your favorite) Don’t skip the garlic in the dressing if possible for better flavor.
  • 1.5 cups cabbage slaw mix, roughly chopped
  • 0.5 cups slivered almonds Can substitute with crispy bacon if preferred.
  • 0.5 cups green onions, diced
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to personal preference.
  • as needed romaine lettuce leaves for serving

Preparation

  • In a medium-sized bowl, add your shredded chicken and about half the bottle of Caesar dressing. Toss until the chicken is evenly coated.
  • Taste the mixture and season with salt and pepper as necessary. Adjust to your flavor preference.
  • Add the slaw mix, slivered almonds, and green onions to the bowl. Gently mix everything until well combined.
  • As you mix, add more Caesar dressing if needed to get the right coating for your chicken mixture.
  • Serve everything on the romaine lettuce leaves, encouraging everyone to make their own cups.

Notes

For best results, store leftover chicken mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Serve fresh romaine leaves stored separately with paper towels to maintain crispness.
