  • 1 cup heavy cream Whipped until soft peaks form.
  • 8 oz mascarpone Combined with sugar and vanilla.
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar For sweetness.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Adds flavor.

Strawberry Layer

  • 1 cup strawberry puree or jam Thinned slightly for dipping.

Assembly Ingredients

  • 18 pieces ladyfingers Quickly dipped in strawberry puree.
  • 1/3 cup chopped pistachios For topping.
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries For topping.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  • In another bowl, combine mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  • Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the strawberry puree, then arrange a layer in a dish.

Layering

  • Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  • Repeat the layer with more dipped ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone.
  • Finish with sliced strawberries and sprinkle chopped pistachios on top.

Chilling

  • Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Notes

This dessert is perfect for making ahead of time and storing in the fridge. Swap strawberries with other fruits or use graham crackers for a nut-free option.
