Dough and Main Ingredients

  • 1 package pie crusts Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 cup cheese (e.g., cream cheese or cheddar) Adds creamy richness.
  • 1/2 cup sugar For sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract Enhances flavor.
  • 1 egg egg (for egg wash) To achieve golden color.

Optional Toppings

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the pie crusts on a clean surface and cut into desired shapes.
  • In a bowl, mix cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Place a spoonful of cheese mixture on half of the pie crust shapes.
  • Optional: Add toppings to the cheese mixture.
  • Cover with remaining pie crust shapes and seal edges.
  • Beat the egg and brush over the tops of the snacks.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For storage, place leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze unbaked snacks for up to a month. Reheat in an oven or air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
