  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Grease a baking dish and pour in the batter.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  • Slice the dessert into squares and serve.

Notes

Dust with powdered sugar and serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a fancy touch. To store, place in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
