  • 8 ounces pasta (your favorite shape)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk (whole milk is the creamiest)
  • 4 cups water (enough to cover the pasta)
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Cooking Instructions

  • In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the pasta, milk, and enough water to cover the pasta. Stir gently.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer until the pasta is cooked.
  • Once the pasta is done, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Feel free to add grilled chicken or shrimp for extra protein. You can also add seasonal vegetables like spinach or peas for more nutrition.
