  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups cold water Adjust for thickness.
  • 1/2 lime Juice of 1/2 lime Add more if you love tart flavors.
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon Enhances flavor.
  • Pinch of salt Optional, but enhances flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey (optional) Only if you truly need it.

Preparation

  • Add oats and water to a blender. Blend for about 30 to 45 seconds until it looks creamy.
  • Add lime juice, cinnamon, and a tiny pinch of salt. Blend again for 5 to 10 seconds.
  • Taste it. If it is too thick, add a splash more water. If it needs more zing, add more lime.
  • Pour into a glass and drink slowly.

Notes
