Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 0.75 cups unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.75 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cups packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 3 medium)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

Mixing Ingredients

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Fold in the mashed ripe bananas.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a wooden skewer placed in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store your banana bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, wrap it securely and freeze it for up to 3 months. Reheat slices in an air fryer or oven at 350°F for a few minutes.
