  • 1/2 cup Bacon bits Pre-cooked bacon bits save time

  • 1/4 cup Green onion Chopped for garnishing

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven and cook the tater tots according to package instructions until crispy (about 20 to 25 minutes).
  • Remove the tater tots from the oven and sprinkle cheese and bacon bits evenly on top.
  • Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted (about 5 to 7 minutes).
  • Remove from the oven, drizzle with sour cream, and garnish with chopped green onion.
  • Serve hot as a delicious appetizer or side dish.

Notes

Best served immediately while hot and crispy. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. Reheat in the oven to maintain crispness instead of microwaving.
