  • 2 cups whipped cream Can be store-bought or homemade
  • 4 slices white crustless bread Soft, preferably fresh
  • 10 pieces California strawberries Washed and stems cut off

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Evenly spread half a cup of whipped cream on one slice of crustless bread.
  • Place three California strawberries in a diagonal line on the whipped cream. Finish with one strawberry on each empty side for presentation.
  • Spread another half a cup of whipped cream generously over the strawberries.
  • Put the other slice of bread on top to create your sandwich.
  • Wrap the entire sandwich in plastic wrap, marking where to cut diagonally for serving.

Notes

Serve with coffee or vanilla ice cream. For added flair, sprinkle powdered sugar or serve with whole strawberries on the side. Store in the refrigerator for up to two days, but best enjoyed fresh.
