  • 1/4 cup hot honey Adjust to taste.
  • 1 cup roasted broccoli Feel free to use other vegetables.
  • 1 medium avocado, sliced Adds creaminess to the dish.
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce Can use low-sodium soy sauce if desired.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder For enhanced flavor.

Preparation

  • Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until it’s nicely browned.
  • Drain any excess grease. Stir in the soy sauce, garlic powder, and hot honey until well combined.
  • Warm up the cooked rice in the microwave or on the stove and divide it among serving bowls.
  • Top the rice with the hot honey beef mixture, roasted broccoli, and slices of avocado.
  • Drizzle with additional hot honey if desired. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

Consider adding sauces like sriracha or sesame seeds on the side for customization. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days in the fridge.
