For the shrimp

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Cooked rice For serving
  • Sliced green onions For garnish

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to make the sauce.
  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Cooking

  • Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
  • Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp and stir to coat evenly.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve it over rice with sliced green onions on top.

Notes
