Ingredients
  

Dip Base

  • 1 package 8 oz package cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise For a deeper flavor, substitute some with sour cream.

Cheeses & Sausage

  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese Using the sharpest cheddar enhances flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese For a bit of spice.
  • 1 cup cooked ground sausage, crumbled Mild or spicy based on preference.
  • 1 can 4 oz diced green chiles, drained

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper Optional, for heat.
  • to taste Salt and black pepper

For Garnishing and Serving

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley Optional, for garnish.
  • Crackers, tortilla chips, or bread slices For serving.

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly grease a medium baking dish or a cast-iron skillet.

Cook the Sausage

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and crumbled.
  • Drain excess grease and let the sausage sit on a paper towel for a moment.

Mix the Base

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise.
  • Stir until smooth and glossy, with no lumps remaining.

Add Cheese & Flavor

  • Mix in cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, cooked sausage, green chiles, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir until evenly combined.

Bake

  • Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.

Serve Hot

  • Garnish with parsley if desired.
  • Serve warm with chips, crackers, or bread.

Notes

For a bright flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lime over the top after baking. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to four days. Reheat gently before serving.
