Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup all purpose flour, plus extra for dusting
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or dried oregano (optional) For added flavor

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and any optional seasonings.
  • Add Greek yogurt and stir until the mixture looks shaggy.
  • Dust your counter with flour, then dump the dough out and knead for about 30 to 60 seconds until it comes together. Add more flour if it's too sticky.
  • Cut the dough into 4 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball, then flatten to a circle or oval about 1/4 inch thick.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet on medium to medium-high heat. Optionally, add a small amount of oil.
  • Cook each flatbread for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden spots and some puffing occur.
  • Cool for a minute, then serve immediately or wrap in a towel to keep warm.

Notes

To customize, you can add flavors like garlic powder, Italian seasoning, or cheese. Store cooked flatbreads in the fridge for 2-3 days and reheat before serving.
