  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar or honey Can substitute with maple syrup or a sugar substitute.
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil or melted coconut oil For a lighter version, replace with unsweetened applesauce.
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Can substitute with gluten-free flour.
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan to prevent sticking.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, cocoa powder, sugar (or honey), oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes. Check with a toothpick for doneness; it should come out clean.
  • Let the brownies cool before slicing into squares.

Notes

Serve the brownies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, fresh fruit, or drizzled with chocolate sauce for an elevated treat.
