Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, cream the softened butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Mix in the vanilla extract and egg until well blended.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Using a tablespoon, drop balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake for about 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For storage, keep cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze them in a freezer-safe bag for up to three months. To reheat, warm in the oven at 350°F for a few minutes or use an air fryer.
