Ingredients
  

For the Fruit Salsa

  • 2 pieces apples, diced Use firm apples for best texture.
  • 2 pieces kiwis, diced
  • 1 cup strawberries, diced Fresh strawberries work best.
  • 1 cup raspberries Use firm berries.
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Fresh lime juice is recommended.

For the Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips

  • 4 pieces flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted Real butter is preferred.

Instructions
 

Preparation of Salsa

  • In a bowl, combine diced apples, kiwis, strawberries, and raspberries. Stir in honey and lime juice. Mix well and let sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Gently toss so each piece of fruit catches the dressing.

Preparation of Chips

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet.
  • Brush tortillas with melted butter, then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  • Cut tortillas into wedges and place them on the baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Serving

  • Serve the fruit salsa with warm cinnamon sugar tortilla chips. Arrange the chips around a bowl of fruit or sprinkle a few on top.

Notes

Best served fresh. Store salsa in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Make chips right before serving for optimal crispness.
