Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni

Cheeses

  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup gouda cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Sauce Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter for melting
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour for thickening
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Cook the elbow macaroni according to the instructions on the package. Once it’s done, drain it well.
  • In your slow cooker, melt the butter on low heat. Stir in the flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Gradually whisk in the milk until the mixture is smooth.
  • Add the cheeses one at a time, stirring until each one melts into the sauce.

Cooking

  • Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and mix well.
  • Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Once done, serve warm and enjoy every creamy, cheesy bite.

Notes

For a healthier version, use whole wheat macaroni or substitute some of the milk with unsweetened almond milk. You can also add ingredients like cooked chicken, bacon, or sautéed mushrooms for more flavor.
