  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into strips You can substitute with flank steak or chicken.
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved Any type of potatoes can be used.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For cooking the potatoes and steak.
  • 1 tbsp butter Adds richness to the dish.

Seasoning

  • 1 tsp steak seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Essential for flavor.
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley For garnish.

Preparation

  • Boil the potatoes for 8 minutes, then drain well.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Cooking

  • Cook the potatoes in the skillet until golden and crisp, stirring occasionally.
  • Season the steak with steak seasoning, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Push the potatoes to one side of the skillet and add the remaining tablespoon of oil and butter to the empty space.
  • Sear the steak strips for about 2 to 3 minutes until browned.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and toss everything together for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Keep stirring the potatoes occasionally to prevent sogginess. Serve family-style and consider sides like salad or dinner rolls for a complete meal.
