Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

For the filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping
  • 1 cup strawberry pie filling or chopped strawberries

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar until everything is coated well.
  • Press the mixture firmly into a pie dish or square pan, ensuring it's evenly distributed.
  • Chill the crust in the fridge for about 20 minutes.
  • While the crust chills, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the chilled crust.
  • Spoon the strawberry pie filling or chopped strawberries over the cream layer.
  • Return the pie to the fridge and let it chill for at least 3 hours before slicing.

Notes

You can add fresh whipped cream or crushed pretzels on top for extra flair. This pie pairs well with vanilla ice cream as well.
