Pasta Salad Ingredients

  • 8 oz cooked pasta, cooled Use your favorite pasta type.
  • 1 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup chickpeas, drained Canned or cooked chickpeas.
  • 1/4 cup sliced olives Any type of olives work.
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta Optional for a creamier texture.
  • 2 cups chopped romaine Acts as the top layer to keep the salad fresh.
  • 1/4 cup Greek dressing Store-bought or homemade.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Set out four wide-mouth jars.
  • Divide the Greek dressing evenly between the jars first to keep the greens crisp.
  • Layer in the chickpeas evenly across the jars.
  • Add the chopped cucumbers next.
  • Layer halved cherry tomatoes.
  • Toss in the sliced olives.
  • Add the cooked pasta and mix well.
  • Sprinkle the crumbled feta on top.
  • Finally, fill the jars with chopped romaine.
  • Seal the jars tightly and refrigerate for up to 4 days.

Notes

These salad jars are flexible; you can add leftover veggies or protein such as grilled chicken. Store tightly sealed in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
