  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat, stirring frequently until golden brown and nutty.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the browned butter with both brown sugar and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  • Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined without overmixing.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips gently into the dough.
  • Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the centers are soft.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
