Dressing

  • 1 cup mayonnaise Provides creaminess.
  • 2 tablespoons pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Can add more for extra tang.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Garnish

  • Fresh dill for garnish (optional) Adds a pop of color and freshness.

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water until cool to the touch.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chopped dill pickles, red onion, and celery. Stir gently to avoid breaking the pasta.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, pickle juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and stir until fully combined.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh dill if desired.

Notes

This pasta salad can be made a day ahead and tastes even better as the flavors meld. It stores well in an airtight container for 3–5 days. Adding cheese or sweet peppers can enhance the flavor.
