  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese Plus extra for serving if desired.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Substitute with vegetable broth for a vegetarian version.
  • 2 tsp minced garlic Essential for flavor.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes

Cooking Instructions

  • Add frozen meatballs to the crockpot.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, parmesan cheese, chicken broth, garlic, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  • Pour the sauce over the meatballs in the crockpot and add the sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the meatballs are heated through.
  • Stir before serving and garnish with extra parmesan if desired.
  • Serve over pasta, mashed potatoes, or rice for a complete meal.

Notes

For leftovers, cool to room temperature then store in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge or up to 3 months in the freezer. Reheating in the oven is recommended for better texture.
