Ingredients
  

For the coating

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs can be used for extra crunch.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper

For the cod

  • 2 pieces cod fillets Frozen cod can be used, just thaw before cooking.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Brush the cod with olive oil before coating.
  • 1 few lemon wedges For serving.

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well-mixed.
  • Brush the cod fillets with olive oil.
  • Dredge each fish fillet in the breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides evenly.

Cooking

  • Carefully place the coated fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and golden brown.
  • Serve the crispy cod with lemon wedges.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to two days or freeze for about three months. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes to restore crispiness.
