  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Gives it a lovely flavor.
  • 2/3 cup caramel dip Brings in rich, gooey goodness.
  • 2 tbsp toffee bits For a little crunch and extra sweetness.
  • 1 tbsp peanuts, chopped Adds a slight salty twist.
  • 1 tbsp walnuts, chopped Gives a nice crunch and depth of flavor.
  • Apples fresh and crunchy The perfect dippers! Use your favorites.

Preparation

  • Add the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to a mixing bowl.
  • Use a hand mixer (or stand mixer) to combine evenly until smooth and creamy.
  • Heat the caramel dip in the microwave until pourable, using 15-second intervals.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture in the bottom of a serving dish.
  • Pour the caramel over the cream cheese layer and spread evenly.
  • Top with toffee bits, peanuts, and walnuts as desired.
  • Slice the apples and use them to scoop up the dip.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for a few days. To prevent apple slices from browning, toss them in a little lemon juice before serving.
