  • 4 pieces bone-in pork chops (1/2 to 3/4 inch thick)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Preparation

  • In a shallow dish, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne (if using), salt, and pepper.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until smooth and bubbly.
  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.

Coating

  • Dredge each pork chop in the flour mixture until fully covered.
  • Dip the coated chop into the egg mixture, then return it to the flour for a second coat.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Fry the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. For longer storage, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil before freezing for up to three months.
