Dry Ingredients

  • 250 g all-purpose flour Standard flour for cake base
  • 125 g sugar Regular granulated sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar Gives a sweet and aromatic flavor
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder Leavening agent
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Add more if you love cozy spice

Wet Ingredients

  • 125 ml milk Adds moisture
  • 80 ml oil Can use vegetable or corn oil
  • 2 large eggs Bind the ingredients together

Fruits and Toppings

  • 2 large apples, peeled and cut into small pieces Choose your favorite kind of apples
  • to taste cinnamon sugar For sprinkling on top

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Grease your springform pan with oil or butter.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.

Mixing

  • Pour in the milk and oil, followed by the eggs. Stir until you have a smooth batter.
  • Fold in the apple pieces gently.

Baking

  • Transfer the mixture into the prepared springform pan and spread evenly.
  • Dust the top with cinnamon sugar.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.

Cooling and Serving

  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan briefly before transferring it to a wire rack.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally with whipped cream or ice cream.

Notes

Store leftovers in plastic wrap or an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. It tastes even better the next day.
