Ingredients
  

For the Tree Structure

  • 1 cup Salty sticks (pretzel sticks or breadsticks) These will form the base of the tree.

For Decoration

  • 1 cup Cheese (cheddar or gouda) Cut into star shapes for the tree topper.
  • 1 cup Fresh parsley Used for decoration and flavor.
  • 1 cup Pomegranate seeds Adds a festive, sweet touch.
  • 1/2 cup Chopped walnuts For added crunch and nuttiness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Arrange the salty sticks on a serving plate in a triangle shape, starting wide at the bottom.
  • Cut the cheese into star shapes and place on the top of the tree.
  • Add fresh parsley leaves around the base of the tree for decoration.
  • Sprinkle pomegranate seeds over the cheese and plate.
  • Chop the walnuts coarsely and scatter them over the tree and around the plate.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Revive crunchy sticks by baking at 350°F for 5 minutes.
