Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground turkey Ground meat option
  • 2 tbsp Taco seasoning Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup Corn Can use canned or frozen
  • 1 can Black beans or pinto beans Drained and rinsed
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For cooking the turkey
  • to taste Salt Adjust according to preference
  • to taste Pepper Adjust according to preference
  • 1 Lime juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor

Fresh Veggies

  • to taste Lettuce Chopped
  • to taste Tomatoes Diced

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat for about one minute.
  • Add 1 pound of ground turkey and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is browned.

Seasoning

  • Stir in 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning along with about ¼ cup of water.
  • Cook for an additional 3 minutes until everything is heated through and the flavors blend nicely.

Assembly

  • In meal prep containers or bowls, layer the cooked turkey, fresh veggies, 1 cup of corn, and 1 can of black or pinto beans.
  • Drizzle fresh lime juice over the top, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Store in the fridge for meal prep throughout the week.

Notes

Store your Chipotle Style Taco Bowls in the fridge for up to 4 days. You can freeze them for up to 3 months. Reheat in an air fryer or oven set to 350°F for about 5-7 minutes to keep the ingredients fresh and crispy.
