Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Crust

  • 1 lb ground chicken Lean ground chicken works best.
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese Use fresh Parmesan for best results.
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Shredded mozzarella adds richness.
  • 1 large egg Use room temperature for better mixing.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Add more to enhance the flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder Adds depth to the crust's flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Toppings

  • 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce Sugar-free if keto.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers Any color bell peppers work.
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • to taste Fresh basil or arugula Optional for garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
  • Have a small bowl of lightly oiled water ready to wet your hands and a spatula nearby.

Making the Crust

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, Parmesan, mozzarella, egg, and seasonings. Mix thoroughly until well blended.
  • Ensure the cheeses are evenly distributed and the mixture looks cohesive but not soupy.

Forming the Crust

  • Transfer the chicken mixture onto the lined baking sheet. With lightly oiled hands or a spatula, press it out into a thin, even 10–12-inch round circle.
  • Smooth the surface for even topping distribution.

Baking the Crust

  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until the crust is fully cooked and edges begin to brown.
  • Ensure the center is firm, and if it jiggles, give it a few more minutes.

Adding Toppings

  • Carefully remove the crust from the oven and add your marinara sauce, cheese, and any desired toppings.
  • Return to the oven and bake for another 8–10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnishing and Serving

  • Let the pizza rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Top with fresh basil or arugula before serving.

Notes

Leftovers keep well in the fridge up to 3 days and can be reheated in the oven. For freezing, wrap slices tightly and store in a freezer bag for up to 2 months.
