Ingredients
  

For the Chicken and Wrap

  • ¾ pound chicken breasts
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder Flavor booster
  • as needed Kosher salt
  • as needed Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 extra-large flour tortillas

For the Salad

  • 4 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • ¼ cup Caesar dressing
  • cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • ½ cup croutons

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Using a mallet or rolling pin, gently pound out the chicken to about ½-inch thickness.
  • Toss the chicken in garlic powder, salt, and pepper until it’s evenly coated.
  • Heat your grill to 450ºF (230ºC) or your grill pan to medium-high heat.
  • Brush the grates with vegetable oil to keep the chicken from sticking.
  • Add the chicken breasts to the grill and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until grill marks appear.
  • Flip the chicken and grill for another 3 to 5 minutes until cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the grill, let it sit for 10 minutes, and then slice it into 1-inch strips.

Assembly

  • In a large bowl, combine the romaine with the Caesar dressing and toss to coat well.
  • Top the salad with Parmesan, crumbled bacon, and croutons, then toss again.
  • On a warmed tortilla, arrange half of the chicken strips and half of the salad mixture.
  • Fold the sides up and inward around the filling, then roll tightly.
  • Cut in half to serve, or wrap in foil for meal-prepping.
  • Repeat with the remaining ingredients.

Notes

Store leftovers in foil or airtight containers. Reheat in an oven or skillet to maintain crispiness. Adapt the recipe with different proteins or greens as desired.
