  • 2 large eggs

Dry Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour Add more if dough feels too sticky.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix-ins

  • 1 cup toasted sesame seeds Adds texture and nutty flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the honey and eggs. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until combined.
  • Fold in the toasted sesame seeds.

Baking

  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. The flavors deepen overnight. Can be frozen for about three months.
