  • 3 lb Boneless Turkey Breast
  • ½ stick Unsalted Butter Use fresh butter for best flavor.
  • 1 tsp Salt Or to taste.
  • 1 tsp Ground Pepper
  • 1.5 tsp Cajun Seasoning Or Creole Seasoning.
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Cumin
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Coat a baking dish with butter or cooking spray and set aside.
  • Clean and pat dry the turkey breast.
  • In a bowl, combine the butter, garlic, and remaining seasoning until creamy.
  • Loosen the skin of the turkey breast. Spread half of the butter mixture underneath the skin and the remaining half on top and underneath of the turkey breast.

Cooking

  • Place the turkey in the baking dish, skin-side up, and bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes until the skin begins to brown.
  • Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake for an additional 1 hour and 15 minutes, basting occasionally with pan juices.
  • Check the internal temperature with a thermometer; it should read at least 160 degrees before removing from the oven.
  • Lightly cover the turkey with foil and allow it to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with fresh herbs and sides like mashed potatoes or green beans. Store leftovers in an airtight container for best quality. Reheat gently to preserve moisture.
