  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Burger buns for serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add ground chicken to the skillet and cook until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add chopped onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until vegetables soften.
  • Stir in Cajun seasoning, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Serve the mixture on burger buns.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat using an air fryer or oven for best results. For time-saving, use pre-chopped vegetables or rotisserie chicken.
