  • 1 tablespoon olive oil To smooth out the cheese mixture.

Instructions
 

Preparing the Tomato Mixture

  • Wash and finely dice the Roma tomatoes, placing them in a mixing bowl.
  • Toss in the chopped basil and minced garlic.
  • Drizzle in the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then sprinkle with salt. Gently mix everything together.

Preparing the Cheese Mixture

  • In another bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and crumbled feta cheese. Blend until smooth.
  • Add minced garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil, mixing well, and adjust salt to taste.

Assembling the Dip

  • Spread the creamy cheese mixture in an attractive serving dish.
  • Top with the tomato mixture, spreading evenly.
  • Garnish with chopped basil, red pepper flakes, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For a fun twist, consider adding jalapeños for heat or substituting feta with goat cheese. This dip can be prepared ahead of time, just keep the layers separate until you're ready to serve.
