  • 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric Add for an earthy flavor; part of the 'Asian Honey Protocol'.
  • 1 pinch freshly grated ginger Optional for added warmth and digestive comfort.

Preparation

  • Add honey to a clean glass bowl.
  • Stir in the cinnamon and fresh lemon juice.
  • Mix slowly with a wooden spoon until everything is fully combined and smooth.
  • Transfer to a small airtight glass jar.
  • Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Use a clean, dry spoon each time.

How to Take It

  • Take one teaspoon each morning, preferably before breakfast.
  • Hold it under your tongue for seven seconds before swallowing.

Notes

Keeps well at room temperature in a sealed jar. Do not give honey to infants under one year old. If it crystallizes, warm the jar in a bowl of warm water. Consult with a doctor if you have blood sugar management issues or a honey allergy.
