boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

BBQ sauce
store-bought or homemade
1/2
cup
chicken broth
1
tablespoon
apple cider vinegar
1
teaspoon
garlic powder
1
teaspoon
onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Rub the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
In a small bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, broth, and brown sugar.
Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot and pour the sauce mixture over them.
Cook on
low for 6-8 hours
or on
high for 3-4 hours
until the chicken is tender and easily pulls apart.
Use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the pot, mixing it with the sauce.
