BBQ Pulled Chicken Recipe: So Easy, It’s Almost Too Good to Be True

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Rub the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, broth, and brown sugar.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot and pour the sauce mixture over them.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and easily pulls apart.
  • Use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the pot, mixing it with the sauce.
