Ingredients
  

For the Latte

  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 bags chai tea bags (or 2 teaspoons loose chai tea)
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1-2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 Cinnamon stick or apple slice (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small pot, combine the apple cider and water. Heat gently over medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Once steeped, carefully remove the tea bag or strain out the loose tea.
  • Add the milk to the pot and stir in honey or maple syrup to taste. Heat gently until warmed through, being careful not to let it bubble over.
  • Pour the Apple Chai Latte into mugs and garnish with ground cinnamon, a cinnamon stick, or a slice of apple if desired.

Notes

Serve with homemade cookies or gingerbread for a cozy experience. Store any leftovers in the fridge and reheat gently before serving.
